Dewlight is a small village in the mountains of Inis Faerna populated by pixies, treants, and other creatures more commonly associated with Caelra. Sometimes it is said that travelers cannot truly find Dewlight unless they happen through an imperceptible Crossing.
In 8723 SE, the adventurers who would become known as the Mistborn reached Dewlight while traveling through the Polverth Plateau. The village was suffering the effects of a spreading disturbance marked by unnatural thunder, red lightning, dead wildlife, and violent shapeshifters. Its inhabitants told the company that the trouble centered on the Pool of Eternal Spring to the north.
The company left Dewlight for the Pool, freeing captives and fighting hostile creatures along the way. At the sanctuary they stopped an attempt to corrupt Lurae, but Mist was killed in the battle. The survivors returned to Dewlight with his body before continuing to Cain Tiarnach.
