The Polverth Plateau is a high forested region in the interior of Inis Faerna. It contains the village of Dewlight, the talking maple known as Faenor, and routes leading north toward the Pool of Eternal Spring. The region lies far enough from the major Asnor settlements that many of its inhabitants and visitors are beings more commonly associated with Caelra or with shallow Crossings between realms.
In 8723 SE, the Mistborn reached the plateau while escorting a group of frightened satyrs. They found the region suffering from unnatural red lightning, unexplained thunder, dead animals, and violent creatures moving through the forest. Faenor and the people of Dewlight directed the company toward the Pool, where the disturbance was believed to originate.
The Mistborn left Dewlight and continued north, freed several dryads and captive animals from a hag, and eventually reached the Pool. The confrontation there ended the immediate threat but resulted in the death of Mist.
