Vatyrnar was an enchanted seagoing vessel used by the Mistborn throughout much of their campaign in the Skyre Islands. The company discovered it on an island in Kissaver 8722 SE after a fight with raiders. Whittaker Morganna became attuned to the vessel and ordinarily acted as its captain.
Vatyrnar possessed a degree of magical awareness and could warn its crew about nearby dangers. Player accounts refer to multiple carved heads associated with the vessel through which Whittaker could receive or interpret its warnings, particularly while underway at sea. The precise nature of the enchantment is not otherwise preserved.
The ship allowed the Mistborn to move independently among the islands rather than relying upon hired passage. It carried them during their investigations of the Sahuagin, their voyage to Inis Cailean in search of the Mantle of Rektesh, the later expedition to the submerged temple associated with Sekorath, and much of the travel surrounding the Asnor Succession War of 8723 SE.
