Yolara was a Skyre Folk leader encountered by the Mistborn on Inis Cailean in 8723 SE. She lived with a secluded community in a warm hidden valley reached through the interior caverns of the island.
Yolara’s community preserved traditions concerning the destruction of Lundarbrekka and the generations of conflict between the Skyre Folk and the early Asnor settlers on Inis Cailean. The accounts she shared complicated the conventional Asnor version of the island’s history by emphasizing both the violence committed during the original conquest and the later efforts of some Skyre communities to end the cycle of retaliation.
The Mistborn met Yolara while searching for the Mantle of Rektesh. Information from the community helped them continue through the caverns to the ancient Asnor site where Cap Tan Ro’geers eventually recovered the artifact.
Yolara later participated in the coalition that formed around Cap during the Asnor Succession War of 8723 SE and represented Skyre interests in discussions surrounding the Teeth of Sekorath. Her involvement made her one of the figures through whom the wartime alliance between Asnor and Skyre communities became more than a temporary military convenience.
